Lot 21: FLOWN Skylab 4 Robbins Medallion, COA Signed by Col. Bill Pogue
This Skylab 4 Robbins medallion was one of six carried to space in Skylab 4 Astronaut Bill Pogue's Personal Preference Kit (PPK). It was onboard Skylab 4 for 84 days, from November 16, 1973 to February 8, 1974 and traveled 34 million miles in over 1,200 orbits around the Earth.
According to Pogue, each astronaut carried six of these medallions in their PPK, for a total of 18 flown on the Skylab 4 mission. The medallion comes in its original Robbins case, labeled #18F, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Pogue.
