The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF) held its annual U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame Induction Gala at the Apollo/Saturn V Center, Kennedy Space Center, the evening before the official ceremony on May 6, 2007. The event honored new inductees Michael Coats, Steven Hawley, and Jeffrey Hoffman and raised more than $160,000 for scholarships. Astronaut Scholar Alumni and thirty-five Astronauts joined in the celebration.
