Lot 28: 1986 George Bush Sr. signed letter to Alan Shepard
This September 30, 1986 letter to Alan Shepard is signed by the Vice President of the United States, George Bush Sr. The letter is on the Vice President's official watermarked stationary (measures approximately 6.5" by 8.5") and is addressed to Alan Shepard at the Mercury Seven Foundation. The letter from the Vice President is in response to Shepard's request for Bush to be his guest at the 25th Anniversary of America's first manned orbital spaceflight.
Bush also included a personal hand written note "Love to all Shepards."
