The 2008 Astronaut Hall of Fame Gala and Induction Ceremony were held at the KSC Apollo/Saturn V Center on May 2–3, 2008. The event honored new inductees Loren Shriver, Bryan O'Connor, John Blaha, and Robert Cabana. The gala and its surrounding events realized close to $180,000, which will fund almost an entire year of scholarships.
