Lot 07: Host a Catered Dinner Party with Moonwalker Edgar Mitchell
Guess who is coming to dinner?! Get out your best china and silverware, as one of only 12 men to walk on the Moon will be your guest for an evening you — your neighbors — are not soon to forget.
Apollo 14 Lunar Module Pilot Edgar Mitchell will join you, your family and invited friends for a catered three-course meal (included). During the evening, he will share his adventures of exploring the lunar surface as part of the third moon landing in February 1971. Mitchell will be happy to answer your and your guests' questions about the space program as well.
Dinner location limited to a private residence within the continental U.S. Total dinner party not to exceed 12 guests. ASF rep will accompany Mitchell. The actual date of the experience, not to exceed one year after the close of the auction, will be determined by the above astronaut's schedule. ASF reserves the right to disqualify the high bidder, to reject the high bid, and to accept a bid from a lower bidder, for any reason within their discretion, which shall be exercised in good faith. The winning bidder of this experience may be required to submit proof of identity and be subject to a background check. Hold harmless agreement required.
