Lot 17: John Glenn Autographed LIFE Magazine
The only Astronaut to fly in both the Mercury and Space Shuttle programs, John Glenn, graces the cover of this October 1998 LIFE magazine. The magazine caption reads "The Last Hero John Glenn Flies Us Back to Space." Inside the magazine there is a section entitled "Last Heroes" with an article about Glenn's upcoming Space Shuttle flight and his reflections on his days as a Mercury astronaut.
Glenn authentically signed this piece.
