The patch is from Gene Cernan's personal collection and is autographed by all three crew members Cernan, Thomas Stafford and John Young. Including an inscription by Stafford stating: "Flown to the Moon on Apollo X May 18-26, 1969".

Apollo 10 holds the record for the highest speed attained by a manned vehicle at 24,791 mph. The speed record was set during their return from the Moon on May 20, 1969.

This patch is accompanied by a letter of provenance certified by Cernan.
