Crippen Lent a Hand to Charity
Hall of Fame astronaut Robert Crippen lent his autograph to charity in a mail-in signing from September 1 – October 21, 2009 to support the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF). More than 120 items flooded in from fans wanting the Space Shuttle astronaut to sign their memorabilia. Crippen signed each and every one before he generously donated 100% of the proceeds to the ASF.
