Lot 03: SCUBA or Snorkeling Adventure with Al Worden
Col. Worden wants to be your Buddy — Dive Buddy, that is. Plunge into the deep blue waters of the Florida Keys, with Apollo 15 astronaut Al Worden on a SCUBA diving adventure (or snorkeling if not SCUBA certified).
You will experience some of the same sensations that Worden did 38 years ago when he stepped outside his spacecraft, Endeavour, into the abyss of outer-space! Together you will explore the wonders of the ocean floor and experience the closest feeling to weightlessness on earth!
After a day of diving, you will join Worden for a tropical Florida Keys dinner where you can discuss the day's discoveries and his travels to the moon! At the evening's end, you will bid farewell to your dive buddy and retire to your hotel for a good night's sleep (one night accommodation is included).

Auction lot does not include SCUBA certification. The actual date of the experience, not to exceed one year after the close of the auction, will be determined by the above astronaut's schedule. An ASF rep. will accompany the astronaut. This auction lot includes one night accommodations, but does not include transportation to or from the experience. ASF reserves the right to disqualify the high bidder, to reject the high bid, and to accept a bid from a lower bidder, for any reason within their discretion, which shall be exercised in good faith. The winning bidder of this experience may be required to submit proof of identity and be subject to a background check. Hold harmless agreement required.
