Going, Going, Gone! The fate of 40 space memorabilia and astronaut experience lots was sealed on April 18 when the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation's (ASF) Semi Annual Auction of Astronaut Memorabilia and Experiences closed, realizing more than $80,000!

The auction opened online on April 9 and concluded with in-person bidding at the Autographica dinner. Lots fetching the highest bids were Apollo 16 Lunar Module Safety Netting from Charlie Duke (winning bid-$13,250); Apollo 11 Crew-Signed Cover (winning bid-$5,451); Lunch with Scott Carpenter (winning bid-$4,550); Alan Bean Art Studio Tour (winning bid-$4,300) and Lunch and Glenn Institution Tour with John Glenn (winning bid-$4,050). Several other items received high bids adding up to a whopping $82,122 for the scholarship program!
