Lot 05: Apollo Astronaut Multi-Signed Roll-Out Print
In commemoration of the Apollo 40th Anniversary, this print is one of only 25 signed by these eight Apollo astronauts, exclusively for the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation while at the Kennedy Space Center to recognize the anniversary. Apollo astronauts Vance Brand, Walt Cunningham, Charlie Duke, Owen Garriott, Edgar Mitchell, Al Worden and Apollo back-up crew astronaut Bruce McCandless (who didn't fly until the Space Shuttle program due to budget cuts), signed this vintage print which captures the iconic Saturn V rocket being rolled out to the launch pad from the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. Astronaut signatures just added today: Dave Scott and Thomas Stafford.
The print measures 12" x 15" and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
