Legendary astronauts joined together once again to put their space artifacts and autographs on the auction block for the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation's (ASF) Semi-Annual Auction of Astronaut Memorabilia and the results were astounding... Space enthusiasts placed over 900 bids, raising nearly $48,000 for ASF!

"Total auction earnings far exceeded our goal," said ASF Executive Director Linn LeBlanc. "We are so thankful to all the astronauts whose generous donations helped make our fundraiser a monumental success."

The auction opened online September 4 and concluded September 12 with in-person bidding at the Autographica show in England, where the artifacts were on display. Earning the highest bid was the Skylab 4 Command Module Hand Controller, used in space by astronaut Jerry Carr and donated by astronaut Bill Pogue, which realized over $13,000 alone. Astronaut Tom Stafford's Apollo 10 lunar module medallion also ranked among the popular items, raking in close to $5,000.

Congratulations to the winning bidders of these extraordinary lots!
