The event will be like no other, transporting you back in time to re-live NASA's most "successful failure" mission with the heroic crew at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC), FL.
The evening will commence with a special behind-the-scenes drive-by of the launch pad as you listen to the crew's story of how their historic flight started here and forever changed their lives and that of the world's. The journey will continue with a look into a mock firing room for a realistic view through the eyes of the ground controllers who worked to bring the astronauts home. After gourmet chefs dish out your choice of cuisine, sit in awe under a magnificently restored Saturn V rocket — the same vehicle used on this mission — alongside hero astronauts James Lovell and Fred Haise, NASA Flight Director Gene Kranz, NASA Pad Leader Guenter Wendt, Spacecraft Test Team NASA Project Engineer Bob Sieck and other astronauts and key contributors* while they share the story of what it took to safely return the ill-fated mission to Earth.
