Carpenter Offers the "Write Stuff" to Charity
For the first time ever, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation hosted a special mail-in signing with Scott Carpenter, one of NASA's original Mercury 7 astronauts, on March 19, 2010. The Hall of Fame astronaut offered his autograph to charity, signing each piece of memorabilia sent in to the ASF offices for space fans in support of the Foundation's scholarship program.
