Astronaut Autograph Club Testimonials
Astronauts still represent the pinacle of science and exploration.
Even having grown up surrounded by the space program, as I did
with my father Owen Garriott being an Astronaut, I never lost
and in fact likely redoubled my respect and admiration for what
humanity can achieve when the will of a nation pushes towards a
great ideal like space. The individual astronauts that become
the lucky few to represent humainty on this great quest are
an asset which is important to share and celebrate. The AAC
helps connect these rare assets in a very personal way to the
citizenry who have compelled our government to reach for the
stars, and is thus providing an essential service to the people
for whom the Astronauts really serve as the peoples employees and
inspirational representitives of what we can accomplish together.

Annyunghaseo (Hello in Korean),
My daughter has been a AAC member since her birth three years ago.
The personalized letters and photographs are another way for
my wife and I to show her how special she is to us. How many
kids can say that Mommy and Daddy get me personalized letters
and autographed Astronaut photographs every month? Also, how
many kids can bring their own personalized Astronaut Autograph
collection to "Show and Tell" (now if I can only keep those
in pristine condition — guess that is why I have two
memberships!).
The AAC is also a great way to pass on space history in an
tangible way. While I may be able to explain my excitement as
a child when Apollo 11 stepped on the moon on my 9th birthday,
nothing can bring history to life as much as photographs.
The AAC allows me to share my childhood heroes with my daughter
in a visual way and hopefully excite her quest for exploration
and learning.
Highly recommend that you obtain a membership for your child,
niece, nephew, someone you care about, yourself or anyone
you would like to share space history with. You will not
be disappointed.

P.S. If you have the chance to go to an Astronaut Induction
Ceremony held every year then please do so. I had the ultimate
pleasure of sitting with Major General Charlie Bolden and his
wonderful family the year of his induction. It is always nice
to honor those that serve their county and honor us with their
actions.
Aloha,
What a great idea to have the cream of the crop encouraging our
young people to enter these fields, while the fans of the space
race, and science being performed is a win/win for the country,
the scholarship, and the fans.
Before it's too late, it would be great if we could get the
remainder of the Gemini and Apollo crews to sign on one item,
and count them accordingly as number of signatures to the number
of months.
Your loyal fan,
Bruce Forrest
I believe that AAC is the easiest way to enhance my astronaut
autograph collection. To me I don't have to worry about bad
signatures or lost mail. The care you take in delivering the
signed photos and letters is outstanding. I love my collection. I
keep my wonderful AAC boxes on my bookshelves for all to see. The
storage boxes makes the astronaut autographs stand out as a
sign of quality. If I ever have a problem or questions about my
membership - the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation is fast to
answer and help me. The price of membership makes collecting
astronaut signatures a "best buy". I have been a member from
the start. Thank you.

Just a note to say how much I've enjoyed being a member of
this year's AAC. It's been a fantastic year and its been quite
a thrill every last Tuesday of the month anticipating opening
up the package to see the wonderful photograph and letter
contained within. The Aldrin signed photo was magnificent and
the accompanying letter I thought was very touching and actually
felt personal to me... nice job by Buzz! I greatly appreciate
all the hard work you and the other ASF members (and astronauts)
put in to make this such a memorable and worthwhile cause. I
have only one more thing to say.... ROLL ON 2006!!
Kind regards,
Derek
The shipment arrived yesterday! I am so pleased with this concept!
My husband gave me this as a Christmas present. I am hoping you
will be doing this again next year with different participating
astronauts.

This is a great idea. Our daughter loves getting these packages.
My wife and I are lucky when we are able to get the mail first
and take a quick look before she grabs them. We look forward to
continuing into next year and hopefully the years after.
I believe that Christina (Our daughter) dreams of having her photo
there some day.
Thank you for putting it together.

Mine arrived here this morning in the U.K. Yet another
great signed photo, and yes I am thoroughly enjoying my
membership. May it continue next year with another twelve, different
astronauts. Presentation is first class, a very nice way of doing
it with the special letter as part of the whole package. Well done
to all concerned and thank you to those participating gentleman. I
look forward to my unique photo each month.
All the very best.

The latest installment arrived here in England yesterday.
Another great picture, this time of Richard Gordon. The monthly
mailing sure makes a pleasant change from utility bills and tax
demands. I think the club's a really good idea, linking space
exploration enthusiasts with former astronauts and raising money
to help finance the education of the future astronaut generation.
Just wish I was smart and young enough to take personal advantage
of this fine program!
Keep up the good work. All the best.

Thank you for bringing back the Astronaut Scholarship
Foundation's Astronaut Autograph Club. I've been a member
since the beginning. My husband and I were disappointed to see
it go by the wayside [at the end of 2009]. You shall never know
how very excited I was to welcome it back. From all my joyful
shouting, my husband thought we had won the lottery! I told
him that this was so much better. Thank you and welcome back to
our home.
