ASF's 8th Annual Auction of Astronaut Experiences and Memorabilia
So you may never blast off in a rocket to outer space, but you can own an item that did, through the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation's 8th Annual Auction of Astronaut Experiences and Memorabilia! The auction opens online Thursday, October 28, 2010 and closes Saturday, November 6 at 9:30 PM at ASF's Tropical Evening with the Astronauts Reception & Dinner, held at the Radisson Resort at the Port in Cape Canaveral, Florida, where in-person bidding will be available.
This is sure to be the best auction yet as more than 60 astronauts have donated artifacts, autographs and memorabilia for the cause! Some have even volunteered themselves, offering incredible astronaut experiences to winning bidders!
All auction items will be on display at the VIP Reception with the Astronauts on Friday evening (Platinum Plus and Platinum guests only) and throughout the day on Saturday at the Autograph Show.
