ASF's 2005 Astronaut Hall of Fame Induction Gala was the trendiest place to be on the Space Coast April 29th, 2005. The setting was perfect — a VIP reception at the Hall with lavish food, specialty "blue" drinks, and astronauts galore, followed by a remarkable dinner at the Apollo Saturn V Center. The Gala preceded the Induction Ceremony on Saturday and raised a record $90,000 for the scholarship program, as it honored three very deserving astronauts — Joe Allen, Gordon Fullerton, and Bruce McCandless.
