Larry Bradley, Ph.D., is an astrophysicist and principal science software engineer at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI), the science operations center for the Hubble and James Webb Space Telescopes (JWST). He serves as the branch deputy of the Data Analysis Tools Branch and the JWST Data Analysis Lead at STScI. His research focuses on the formation and evolution of galaxies in the very early universe. He primarily uses the James Webb and Hubble Space Telescopes to discover and study high-redshift galaxies, especially those gravitationally lensed by massive galaxy clusters.

A 1993 Astronaut Scholar, Larry graduated from the University of Central Florida with bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Mathematics. He obtained his Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the Johns Hopkins University. He currently serves as the Chair of the ASF Scholarship Committee and the Neil Armstrong Award of Excellence Selection Committee. Larry received the Neil Armstrong Award of Excellence in 2018.
