Executive Director & ISG Chief Product Security Officer
Lenovo

Bill Jaeger leads Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) Product Security Office and works with Lenovo’s global product teams and industry partners to enhance and align the security of Lenovo’s product offerings with enterprise customer needs. He is a founding member of Lenovo’s Corporate and ISG Product Security Offices and has been instrumental in driving product security strategy and security “firsts” at Lenovo. Bill was awarded Lenovo’s top honor in recognition for his transformative achievements. Prior to joining Lenovo, Bill spent 20+ years solving complex security, operational, and technical challenges for commercial and government customers. Bill is an author, speaker, and inventor with security-related patents issued and pending. He holds CISSP and CSSLP security certifications, is a member of the Black Hat security conference review board and Platform Security track lead, and a member of the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation’s board of trustees.

Visionary Circle Founder and Member, Board of Trustees

Bill has been an enthusiastic ASF supporter since 2011, having found himself so enriched by ASF experiences that he and his wife, Linda, joined the Visionary Circle in 2015 as Founders in honor of Gus Grissom. Since joining the Visionary Circle, Bill has raised funds for the ASF through personal and corporate contributions, has introduced the ASF to individuals and technology organizations that have provided charitable contributions, and has advised the ASF on tactical and strategic initiatives.

Bill has been successful in gaining his employer’s strong support of the ASF, including securing Lenovo’s sponsorship of the North Carolina State University (NCSU) scholarship and a North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University (NC A&T) scholarship, and partnering with Lenovo to fund an annual travel grant enabling Astronaut Scholar Alumni to attend signature professional development events.
