STS-71 Commander Robert “Hoot” Gibson signed a limited number of these 8″ x 10″ prints exclusively for the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, showing him looking out of the overhead window of Space Shuttle Atlantis towards the Russian space station Mir.
This mission marked several historic events: the creation of the largest spacecraft placed into orbit, the first on-orbit exchange of a shuttle crew and the 100th manned space launch performed by the United States.
Each autographed item is unique and the signature on the item you receive may differ slightly from the example shown here. The print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
All monies raised from the sale of these prints will go directly to fund scholarships, through the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, for exceptional college students pursuing advanced degrees in science or engineering. For more information, please visit AstronautScholarship.org.
